Free Turkey Burger at Mooyah

So we scratched the Turkey meatloaf tonight (I was looking forward to it) to have free Turkey Burgers at Mooyah with the purchase of a drink.  Kaitlin ate all her kids meal and Kai had his first ever burger from Mooyah.  He only eats burgers from McDonalds.  So gross.  He has been trying new foods this week and I am so proud of him.  He also had pork loin this week.

Since starting Sugar Busters I always get the turkey burger with a lettuce wrap.  It is so good.  Greg has decided to do Sugar Busters with me.  I have lost about 21 pounds since the end of September.  I do have some cheat meals or weekends occasionally, but for the most part I have stuck with it.  Tonight was day 2 of running/walking in the neighborhood with each other.  It is a time for us to bond while working out and getting healthier.  Tomorrow is weigh in Wednesday.  I will not disclose my weight, but I will tell my weight loss.  I will also post a picture of us each week.  Hopefully we will look smaller and smaller.  I really didn't want to go out tonight, but I made a commitment to Greg and I need to hold my word.

I had to share this pic too.  She climbed in the cage and called Cooper in too.

Awesome Breakfast

This morning we went to a new place for breakfast.  It is owned by one of our friends.  It's called Country Club Cafe in Wylie.  We will definitely be back.  Also, the prices are very reasonable.  Nothing over $5.99.  They are open until 2:00 everyday.  You should check them out.

Map of Business
So I got the pattern for the "jessie" themed dress downloaded and bought the fabric yesterday.  I worked all day on the dress today and got it finished.  Once I begin a sewing project I just get so excited and I want to finish it.  Well here is the finished project.  I can't wait to put it on her tomorrow to try it on.

The ruffles were a little challenging, but I figured it out.

Now to begin working on the party favors, decorations and menu.

I can't believe Kaitlin will be 2 this year.

Greg and I had date night last night.  It was good to get away for the night with no kids.  We almost didn't know what to do with ourselves.  Kai went to ASI gymnastics for PNO with a friend and we got a sitter for Kaitlin.  It was the first time she watched her and Kaitlin took right to her.  We will be using her again.  We left at 6:45 and she was asleep at 7:30.  Our first stop was to bring some treats up to the new ER.  That was for one of our "Random Acts of Kindness".  They really enjoyed the chocolate and fruit.  Next stop was Fish City for a drink and apps.  Followed by a stop to Jaspers to visit some of his ex co-workers.  I could tell Greg was so excited to see them.  His old manager bought us some drinks then we headed home.  It was really good to sit back and relax.

So I am planning Kaitlin's 2nd birthday party.  It will be Toy Story themed.  She watches those movies every day.  So I am making her party dress.  This is my inspiration.

I think it is so cute.  I purchased a pattern and I am going to Joann's tomorrow to buy the fabric.  Wish me luck.  It has ruffles and I am not so good at ruffles yet.  I have 4 days off and look forward to working on it.

Enjoying Life

Here is a photo from the 1st day at the new freestanding ER in Wylie

Well yesterday I completed day 2 of the new job.  I am really enjoying driving 5-6 minutes to work.  The getting up early isn't so bad now, except when Kaitlin wakes up early.  Last night she was in bed by 7:15-7:30 and woke up about 10:30.  Don't know what is going on, but maybe just some growing going on.  We haven't been real busy, so that has been tough.  I know it will pick up soon.

I will be posting my menu plans for the week on Monday.  That way I can keep on track of eating right.  I will also have Weigh in Wednesday for both Greg and I to keep us motivated.  Also, I would love to post pics of my Pinterest projects.

I hope you enjoy reading my blog.

My little Punkin

We have a nighttime routine of reading Llama Llama Red Pajama.  We have to read it at least twice every night.  Kaitlin has been waking up between 4 and 5 am every morning.  I now have to get up about 4:30 since I work days.  No big deal to me, but I have to get ready for work and then Greg is left with a wide awake child.  Also, on my days off I do not want to get up that early.  I put her to bed at 6:30pm (normal bed time is 7:30 or 8:00) and she woke up at 5:30.  I guess I got to sleep in :)

I am also looking into getting the Tot Clock.  I'll keep you updated.  Otherwise Greg is going to be sleeping overnight in a hotel.
